How does your tiered pricing work?

Every store starts on Tier 1 at the beginning of the monthly billing cycle and a one-time charge is applied at the end of any month that your store exceeds the 100,000 'Tier 1' Locally feed item limit. If your Locally feed item total for the month is between 100,001 and 250,000, you'll be charged an additional $50 for that month for a total of $99 ($49 + $50), and if your Locally feed item total for the month is more than 250,000, you'll be charged an additional $150 for that month for a total of $199 ($49 + $150).

Will we have the ability to control prices when the inventory is added from Locally into Shopify?

Yes and no. After our app imports/syncs products with your Locally account, it creates new products on your Shopify store and you can adjust the prices accordingly. However, our app syncs with your Locally account every 24 hours and updates any product information to match what is on your Locally account so any prices that were changed would be changed back to the price that is on your Locally account. With that said, we plan on adding a “Pause Syncing” option to the app in the next couple of weeks that would allow you to change the pricing on the Shopify store and then it won’t update every 24 hours and the changed prices would remain.

Will Locally not be taking the 3.5% fee on each sale with this service, since there is a monthly fee?

If the customer purchases the product via your Shopify store, checks out on the Shopify checkout and the product is shipped, then no, you would not incur the 3.5% fee from Locally. If the customer clicks on the Locally Product Locator (example attached) on your Shopify store and purchases the product via Locally for in-store pickup or same-day delivery, then yes, you would incur the 3.5% fee from them.

Does the 'Pause' button stop the ability to perform a manual-sync using the 'Sync Products' button?

Nope. The 'Pause' button only stops the 24-hour auto-sync. If you 'Pause' the 24-hour auto-sync, you can still perform a manual-sync using the 'Sync Products' button whenever you'd like.

What settings do I need to enable if I’m using LightSpeed?

If you sync your products to Shopify through Accumula, you'll need to enable the 'Adjust Handle for Lightspeed compatibility' setting within the Sync Pro app.

If you sync your products to Locally directly, there are no settings that you need to enable/disable.

What product tag is required for my products to be updated by Sync Pro?

Only products with the product tag of ‘locally’ or ‘Locally’ will be updated in Shopify when your Locally Product Feed is synced via our Sync Pro app.

If I already have products in Shopify, how can I prevent duplicate products from being created?

To ensure that duplicate products aren't created during our syncing process, you'll need to first make sure that the product handle in Shopify matches the product handle that is in your Locally Product Feed.

The only way to check this currently is to visit a product of yours on Locally and compare the product URL to the product URL of the same product on your Shopify store to see if they are similar.

For example, if this is the product URL of the product on Locally, https://www.locally.com/product/468224/yeti-boomer-8-dog-bowl-black, then the product URL of the Shopify product should end with .../46822-yeti-boomer-8-dog-bowl-black. (NOTE: The 6 digit number in the Locally URL has a "/" after it but that "/" should be a "-" in the Shopify URL.)

If the URL's match up, you'll need to add the 'locally' product tag to the product.

If they don't match up, you'll need to modify the product handle of any Shopify products that don't match the Locally product URL format that was mentioned above, and add the 'locally' product tag to the product.

We understand this is complicated so if you have any questions, please reach out to us at support@syncpro.app.

Does Shopify have SEO support?

Yes. There are some great applications we recommend to help mage your Shopify site's SEO and tracking Google search results. We will help install those apps and walk you through how to use them.

We also offer a Post-Launch Analysis. We ask - Is content up-to-date? Where are we getting the most in-bound traffic from and how can we leverage it better. How are people finding us through search? What keywords can we emphasize in our site’s pages and in paid-search?

Do you help with replatforming from one e-commerce solution to Shopify?

Yes. If you ever decide that Shopify isn’t the best ecommerce platform for your business, simply cancel your account.

We do. While there is no “one size fits all” SEO replatforming strategy, we do have a process and apps that help with the transition. Every ecommerce business must carefully review your site structure, current performance, and your long-term goals. Still, there are some key concepts that apply across the board.

We begin by focusing on mapping redirects. We try to map one-to-one URLs to their new destinations. While it is easier to send multiple products to a collection we recommend spending the time on redirects to new pages. Using a tool like SEO Manager in Shopify can help with this process by flagging broken links to 404 pages and missing pages.

We also recommend keeping content changes like page titles and navigation to a minimum in a relaunch. Google can notice this and this can lead to a reindex and dip in organic traffic.

Working with responsive Shopify themes and apps like Image Optimizer, we look to keep page speeds for the new site as fast as possible as this will effect SEO and Google rankings.

How do I log into my Shopify store?

You can login to your Shopify store by adding "/admin" to the end of your custom domain (yourstore.com/admin) or after your .myshopify.com url (yourstore.myshopify.com/admin).

Is there a monthly cost to access the Locally product feed for my store?

Yes, Locally charges $99/month for access to your Locally product feed.
